For some strange reasons, I am struggling to remove the faulty floppy drive
from the PC. The case type is ATX Midi and it should just slide out from the
front when one screw is removed. What else is likely to stop it from sliding
out?

Thanks.

"ATX Midi" really tells us nothing since a great many manufacturers over
many years manufactured computer cases fitting that description.
Often there are screws on both sides of drives.
Check the manual for the case and/or contact the case manufacturer for more
details.
