I am a beginner to networking.I tried to setup a home network for my laptop and
home pc. I didn't get it to work.I mapped my home pc C drive on my laptop,as
drive
letter X. I want to remove/delete this from my laptop,since I don't want a
network
any longer(until I know what I am doing!) The reason for this query is
because I
constantly get an error message at start up "could not connect all network
drives".
Please help with removal.... Thanks.

Hi.
Control Panel /Network Connections/Tools/Disconnect Network Drive.
Jack (MVP-Networking).

ok jack. but is there a way to remove and delete this mapped drive from my
laptop?

Start | run | cmd <enter>

net use x: /del

or net use * /del
