I installed IE7 Beta 2 and found out that it crashes all the time...
so I un-installed IE7.
And now IE6 blocks every link to a new windows (every thing is pop-up
blocked).
I have no way to enable pop-up.
I tried to reinstall IE6, but it won't let me... telling me that I have a
newer version installed.
I really need help..
to post this question I had to use Firefox.... with IE6 I was unable even to
select the new post icon.
Thanks
Robert

Now you know why you shouldn't install BETAs on your machine.

Y'know...the reason I maintain good backups is because I learn best by
fixing what I've broken.

This group saves me a lot of work, however, because I learn almost as
well from the silly things other people do.

I love trying out new things--albeit, after first educating myself about
whatever "new thing" it happens to be--and if it toasts my computer, I
know I can always reformat and start over. I've never had spyware
(except for Dell's factory installation of WildTangent), and I've never
gotten a virus. I'm sure the day will come, but mostly I stay away from
what I consider "crap" sites.

I will say, though, that I thought IE7 sucked, and it didn't last a day
on my machine. Firefox wins the browser race hands-down, and with the IE
extension, I never have to use IE anymore.

Contact the Author of the BETA program you are testing out and ask for
the fix.
