I installed IE7 Beta 2 and found out that it often crashes..
So I un-installed IE7.
And now IE6 blocks every link to a new windows (every thing is pop-up
blocked). even the option "Use Current" in Internet settings is grayed out...
I have no way to enable pop-up. or make it work....
I tried to reinstall IE6, but it won't let me... telling me that I have a
newer version installed.
I ran every cleaning program known to man ... and I have no virus, spyware
or any maleware known.
I really need help..
to post this question I had to use Firefox.... with IE6 I was unable even to
select the new post icon.
Thanks
Robert

Dear Robert
1. I tried every anti-spiware program...4 of them and my computer is clean.
2. The link you gave me for the Hijackethis.zip... is dead... at least I am
getting an error. The requested URL /downloads/hijackthis.zip was not found
on this server
3. I just reinstalled IE7 ... it seems to work fine until I open a tab...
and it generates an error... and crashes....
I am desperate as I do not want to re-Install windows.
Is there any known switch in the Registry that will allow me to reinstall IE6
Thanks for any advise.

Dear PA Bear
I created a new user.
and reinstalled all the active programs to the new user.
when I run IE7 it seems to work fine ... but when I open new tags... it
generates an error message ... And it crashes.
I have no Maleware or other foreign objects. I have 3 cleaning programs
running... and my computer is clean.
So the question is:
How can I reinstall IE6 after un-installing IE7.
I tried even to go back and restore to a previous date... IE6 remains
blocked, and won't work properly.
My solution for the moment... running firefox... and IE7 with one Tag... I
am out of Idea.
Thanks
Robert

It helps immensely if you include all of previous message(s) in your replies
to the newsgroup. Thank you.

At this point and short of doing a thorough check for hijackware (by posting
your HijackThis log to an appropriate forum, NOT HERE, for review), your
only recourse is to backup your personal data, format & reinstall Windows,
Robert.

Reinstalling IE6 won't help one iota.
