HOW TO RECOVER WINDOWS WHEN I DO NOT HAVE THE ORIGINAL DISK TO MAK

Is it possible to download files to make a boot disk(s). I have a machine
which has died and I think it might be repairable. I need to make a set of
boot disks but I cannot find my original windows cd. I am running Windows
2000 Professional.

Can anyone assist?

Your best bet is to ask a friend to make a copy of the
Win2000 CD for you - sooner or later you will need it
anyway. In fact I suspect that you need it right now. Do
you still have the Product Key or is that gone too?

Try bootdisk.com they offer a variety of different boot disks.
