How to recover a mistankenly deleted file?

I was trying to move a file from one folder to another, so I typed "Shift + Delete" and then I tried to copy the file by typing "Shift + Insert", but nothing happened. I looked on the Recycle Bin for the file but it wasn't there. Is there any way to recover the file and what do I have to do for recovering it

there are several programs for undeleting files. Big thing is DO NOT USE THE
COMPUTER anything you do may write files even temp ones over the location
of the file you deleted! Put the drive in a second computer if you have to
but don't install the software on the same drive letter as the deleted file!

So go to a different computer and do a search on undelete

Hi,

This free utility may help if the file is not yet overwritten:
