How to read something out from the registry?

Hi, please help me, because I am new to registry entries on every device!?!
Thx to Daniel Moth, how told me, that I can read out IP, Subnet,
Gateway...from thee registry. Now I looked into the registry and found every
parameters under:

LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\L2TP1\Parms\TcpIp

Can somebody please help me how I can read out e.g. the DNS entry from the
root above??? thx juvi
