How to read dbx files from Outlook express

I have a backup copy of outlook express files. Since this backup I have
changed accounts. I would like to read some of the old messages.

I tried to copy several of these old dbx files into my current OE, but no
luck.

I created new account (to the best of my knowledge that was when I saved -
but not sure) and copied dbx files. Still no luck.

I am told that there are programs which can read these files.

Any suggestins?

I don't know exactly how you backed up the files, but if they are on a
CD, you would have to copy to a folder on your HD and then Import them
to OE *After* you remove the Read Only attribute.
