How to read a CD created on a Mac.

Daniel

Hi everybody!

may be this is a silly question...

this friend of mine, using Windows XP, was given a CD containing .jpg
images.
this CD was burnt on a Mac.

It seems that she cannot open it and see the contents.

is there something to set up in Windows or some particular utility to
download and install to read such a CD ?

many thks in advance for your kind help.
Brgds,
Daniel

I use Mac Drive 7 from http://www.mediafour.com/products/macdrive/ and it's
cheaper than Mikhail's program.

It is not mine program. ;)
Simply it is the only program of this class I keep in my archive just in
case (I even didn't try it yet, but saw it is suitable in this case).
(I have no financial interest in this or any other computer product.)

Same for me. And I think, they are not the only two programs of this
class. Most likely one can find even the freeware program -- if to
search in Internet deeper: say, by the keyword "mac2win" (what means:
Mac To Windows) and so on.

:)

Yep, didn't mean it was your program only what you had recommended. I will
sometimes put the "not financially" on posts where I recommend a particular
product just so people don't think I am making money (spamming) on the
product.

I have used the MacDrive program many times and know it works well. Started
using the program with version 5. Amazing how many people can't understand
the difference between MAC and PC disks, just that they can't read their
floppy or CD.

In Sounds:
) Make sure your sound card shows up in Audio.
) Make sure you have a sound scheme selected.
) Go to each sound that is not working and select it and click the arrow to
play it. If some play and others don't the sound file may be missing. You'll
have to replace it.
