How to reactivate when reinstalling XP after hardware upgrade?

Hi,
I plan on doing a clean install (reinstall) of XP after I add a new hard
drive and a PCI wireless card. I assume that I will have to reactivate as
well. Do you do that over the internet or do you have to call? What info
do they require you to provide during the reactivation process?

Thanks,
BGC

If it's been more than 120 days since you last activated that
specific Product Key, the new owner will most likely be able to activate
via the Internet without problem. If it's been less, he/she might have
to make a 5 minute phone call.

Here are the facts pertaining to activation:

Piracy Basics - Microsoft Product Activation

Windows Product Activation (WPA)
http://www.aumha.org/a/wpa.htm

However, do *not* connect the computer to the Internet for any reason,
including "dynamic updates" or activation, until *after* you have
installed/enabled a firewall and an antivirus application.

What info
do they require you to provide during the reactivation process?

The country in which you're located (so the appropriate telephone
numbers can be displayed, is necessary).
