Hello

I hope someone can assist me with this administration query..

I've notice in many letter that i receive many people sign the bottom of an letter with what appears to be a hand written signature which is printed digitally on the letter, with no sign of an ink signature! Could someone tell me how this is created am assuming that it may require another package to create the signature and insert it into the word document as a graphic....

I would appreciate, any possible information or soultion to this matter

With Thanks
Kitty

Generally, the signature is probably scanned and saved as a graphic file
then inserted as a picture.

Here's the search term I used in Google, "create handwritten signature
MS Word". I think the resulting links will be helpful to you.

Exactly, it's a graphic. Write your signature on a piece of paper,
scan that into your computer. Use Insert|Picture in Word to put it
into the document.

Use a font generator. You take a scanned image of your signature, convert it
to a font, and assign to a key. Then to insert your signature, you just
change to "YourSig" font, and type it with one keystroke.

Kitty,

If you don't have a scanner, use Edwardian Script IT, it looks like
it's hand written. You'll have to use a bigger point size.

Such a scanned signature, once in a Word document, can be saved as an
AutoText entry for future insertion in other documents.

Greetings --

It's remarkably simple, really. Sign a blank sheet of paper, and
then either scan it or use a digital camera to get a picture of the
signature. Crop to fit, and insert into documents as desired.
