How To Programmatically Read Email from Outlook

I have an applicacion that open outlook in order to send/receive email automatically. The problem is that it does not receive the email, it only sends out. If I open outlook normally and press send/ receive, it does it ok.
 
Show the code that you're using to send. Outlook version?
