how to print document properties

Check the box for "Document properties" on the Print tab of Tools | Options
to print the properties with the document. To print just the properties
along, choose "Document properties" in the "Print what" list in the Print
dialog.
 
You don't say what version of Office you're using,

For Office 2007, the procedure is:
1. Click the 'Office' button.
2. Click the 'Word Options' button at the bottom of the dialog.
3. Click the 'Display' tab on the left hand side of the next screen.
4. Check the tickbox marked 'Print Document Properties'
