How to print based on contents page

Hello,

Does anybody know of a way in Word 2007 to print only certain sections of a
document (not page-based)? I have a document with a contents hierachy of 1,
2, etc, then 1.1, 1.2, and so on. Is there any way to print, say, 1.1 and
2.1, but not the rest of the document?

Many thanks,
Peter

Select the text and then, in the Print dialog box, choose to print the
selection.

Hi Stefan,

Thanks, but that's not quite what I was looking for. I was hoping for
something similar to the option in the print dialog to print specific pages,
only for the contents headings. I thought there might be some way of doing
this since the contents have been auto-generated.

There is no built-in way to do what you are asking for. For further
assistance, you may want to ask in a programming newsgroup such as
microsoft.public.word.vba.general. Be sure to include a description of how
the contents are auto-generated.
