how to prevent split printing across a page when using frontpage

When printing from frontpage in office xp, the last line of a page is printed
partially, and the remaining part of that line is printed as the first line
in the
next page. Is there a fix or parameter setting to prevent such 'split
printing'?

Only one fix. Delete just enough text so it fits on one page or decrease
the size of the font.

Change your printer layout to landscape.
