How to prevent signature image being blocked as spam?

I have the company logo as a signature on all new emails that I send
out. I have had someone tell me that my emails are going straight into
their junk folder because their pc sees my emails as spam due to the
fact they have an image at the bottom.
Is this correct and if so is there a way that I can prevent this?

1. Drop the image, at least on emails to this correspondent
2. Have the correspondent tweak his spam filtering.

There's nothing you can do to control the recipient's email
application. Only the recipient would be able to correct this my
adjusting his email filters.

Dump the logo. It's unprofessional to foist unsolicited
images off on a recipient of company correspondence
no matter how cool you think it is.

Also causes problems when you forward or reply -
you will often get an error message "One or more images
could not be found - send anyway?"

Just stop.
