How to play in Powerpoint video clip (.avi) from digital camera

Hi there!

When I try to insert into PowerPoint an .avi file recorded with a A80 Canon
digital camera I got the following message: "Cannot display this type of
sound or movie" If I try to copy and paste I get "video not available. Cannot
find vids.mipg decompressor". I never had any problem with .avi files before.

Thanks for your help

Change the file extension from *.avi to *.mpg and see if that doesn't take
care of it.
