to be precise, not the laptop has an IP address, but its network
adapter. Each network port has its own IP address.
If you have a router, you can call up the router's configuration
and let it show you the list of IP addresses and computer names
in its ARP cache or in the NAT table.
But I see that Chuck has already pointed out the simple way to
find the IP address on the computer.
