How to permanently delete "links" from IE favorites?

I'm using the swedish version of IE 6 but if I remember correctly there is a
map under "favorites" that is simply called "links" ("länkar" in swedish).

This map seems to be impossible to get rid off... It keeps getting back each
time I delete it.

Does anyone have a cure for this? I want to get rid of it (indeed, I'm
perfectly able to make my own maps and name them whatever I want.. and this
default map is just annoying).

Just set the Links folder attributes to Hidden if you don't want to
see it.
