How to paste phase and seperate into another cell by a symbol of.

H

Heather 0123

I want to be able to paste this into to excel and have it seperate in the
next cell where the = sign is.

WEOkToContact04 = yes

As in A1 will show WEOkToContact04 and B1 will show yes

Is this possible?

Assuming there are spaces around the equal sign as you show, then the first
step is to get rid of the space. To do that, select Column A, click
Edit/Replace from the menu bar, type <space>=<space> (using real spaces in
place of my two <space> place holders) into the "Find what" field, type just
a single equal sign in the "Replace with" field and then click the "Replace
All" button. Now, with Column A still selected, click Data/TextToColumns
from the menu bar, then on the dialog box that appears, select "Delimited"
at Step 1, click the "Next" button, then type an = sign into the field
marked "Other" and then click the "Finish" button. Your text should now be
separated as you wanted.
