how to organize Start menu?

I just installed XP on this new machine and had bunch of programs
installed too, so the Start menu is a mess. I went into Setting,
Taskbar & Start menu, Advanced, in order to organize them, but less
than half of all the programs were there. Where are the other ones,
and how do I get them all together?

R-click "Start" select "explore all users". There you will see "Start menu"

programs and can create folders and organize to suit yourself.

Right-click the start button, choose "explore all users".
