How to open PST files in Outlook?

SANTI ORTIZ

Hi everyone,

I recently had a problem reading my e-mail in Outlook. I spent about four
hours on the phone with Microsoft and they eventually help me get it
working. However, they had me save off all my old e-mails in a .PST folder
file before reinstalling Office-2000. So now I have the files but every time
I try to import the messages I get a dialogue box which asks for a password.
This was yesterday and I don't recall ever setting a password. Microsoft was
unable to help me with this 'password' situation.

Does anyone have any clues how I can restore my old e-mails? Any help would
be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Santi Ortiz

If there is a password on the PST file, MS will not crack the password without a court order. However, there are several Password recovery tools available on the web. Go to Google.com and seach on "Outlook PST crack". Once you have access to the PST file, importing them is a snap.
