How to open new book (workbook) with other

i know that i can open several workbooks at the same time. however, i don't
know how to view multiple open workbook applications at one time. when i
open a new workbook, the new one fills the one i have open. How do I do this?

i appreciate your help

hi
on the menu bar.....
window>arrange>tile (or vertical, horizontal, cascade)
only one window can be active at a time.
