How to Open and Save Different File Types

When I rightclick to save a picture I used to have more
than one option. Now I only have BMP as an option. I have
to type "mypic.jpg or mypic.gif" if the properties of the
file is a JPG for instance it will still onle come up as
untitled bmp option. Also in Outlook this does the same
think. Runing Windows2000pro sp4 with all updates,
Running ms office2000 as well. Thanks for your help
