You NEVER have to use import to open a PST file, since PSTs are an
Outlook-native file type. Your advice is like telling someone s/he has to
import a text file with Notepad.
i tried to open the pst file but i recieve a message that it is not a personal folder file. BTW i had this pst from a different computer but outllok was still 2000
Run the inbox repair tool, scanpst.exe
On the assumption you havent moved/copied the pst and its not flaged as read
only
What size is yr pst, there is a limit under OL2K ie problems can occur if
larger than 1.7gb
