I dropped my laptop and broke the case.
No problem, just replace the case bottom.
But the Windows COA/License Key sticker is on the broken case.
How do I get the sticker off the old case without destroying
it so I can put it on the new case?

I also have another system where the idiot put the sticker
on the battery. Replace battery, no sticker.

I can't be the first person with this problem.
What to do?
Thanks, mike

Rip it off and keep it where ever you want or did Microsoft produce your
notebook and the sticker is a quality seal? I don' t think so.

Roll a plasic bottle filled with hot water over it, then peel off carefully.
Or use an iron on a low setting, but beware of overheating.

Getting it hot will loosen the sticky stuff then just use a
razor blade to scape it off. After doing it umpteen times
you'll get the hang of it.

later.....
