Our old accounting system would allow us to enter an item we are purchasing
from a vendor, and then put in a percentage value to mark it up for re-sale.
I know how to mark up a percentage of current items, but that does not help
me with new items. How can I do this, or is it even possible?

We would have to know a bit more about the structure of your database before
we could answer this. You could build code in your form using the "percent
markup" field. Basically, enter the part value, then, if the % field is
updated, have code change what is entered in the "value" field.

Is that the name of the software?
