Hi,
I need to use my laptop in my office, home and client locations. Everytime I
change location I need to change the Internet Explorer LAN settings and IP
addresses. Is there any easy way to manage this. I have seen IBM using
'Desktop Manager' to do this. Like to know something similar to this is
avilable for DELL.

Thanks in advance,
nmraj

Dell doesn't have an in-house application for managing multiple networks
like Thinkpads do. Here are links to some other third-party software:

These programs let you store multiple network configurations and
switch between them easily:

Hello,

Besides above, I think there is another tool worth to try, Easy Net
Switch.
http://www.easynetswitch.com

Besides the functions others have, it has some extra buildin easy to
use tools like Ping, trace route.
And it can also display the current IP address on the desktop
wallpaper automatically.

Kind regards,
Erik
