How to make sub-dirsw sharable in XP?

From my experience, XP's shares work the same as 2000's. Double-check your
permissions and make sure you are enabling propogation to subfolders &
files.
 
Had no problems running peer to peer network on 2win 2000 PC. Replaced one
2000 with XP.
Previously on 2000 if main dir (ex: my photos) was set as sharable, the
whole sub-dir structure under "my photos" would be sharable.
Now on the XP all the sub-directories and sub-sub and sub-sub-sub have to be
made sharable individualy or else I get "access denied" on the 2000 machine
I am shure there is a way around this
