How to make my fonts, icons ... etc larger in WinXp ?
I use Display Properties --> Settings --> Advanced --> General --> Large
Size (120 DPI)
but I have problems with some programs.

Display Properties --> Appearance --> Font Size --> Large Fots doesn't
help too
And I surely doesn't want to manualy try & set all options in Appearance
--> Advanced

I would like to know if there is some program to just click and set wanted
size for all WinXP fonts & stuff ?
Any help would be appreciated, this problem is killing me (and my eyes)
I use 1280x1024 resolution, if that's important

Perhaps alt.windows-xp would be a better forum. Or
microsoft.public.windowsxp.

Hello :) You probably have an LCD monitor... that is set at its optimal
resolution.... knowing that, here are 2 alternatives I can suggest.

You can try this program [EyeRelief] that automates what you are trying to
do
http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4462.html

EyeRelief is a small, simple and free Windows utility that provides improved
legibility to high density LCDs, allowing larger font, icon, tool and
taskbar sizes at native resolutions. Users with, e.g., SXGA+, UXGA and
higher resolutions LCDs may find EyeRelief's desktop scaling a superior
alternative to running at lower non-native resolutions

You can try changing your resolution on the fly by an icon in the tray
http://www.greenparrots.com/aqr.html ( go to the bottom of the page on the
left is the link towards the free version)
http://www.greenparrots.com/1stqres.zip

1st QuickRes Light (freeware) is a simplified version of 1st QuickRes. The
light version has limited screen saver, wallpaper and color scheme support,
allows only 3 favorite modes, does not retain desktop windows positions,
does not support custom display settings for applications but you can use it
free of charge forever!

Please tell me if any of these 2 programs help you solve your problem.

Have in mind Vista (the new version of windows due 2007) will allow you to
enlarge a window (something like magnification).
