How to Make DVD

I have version 2.1. I've created a 11 minute program of still shots, video
with music. It plays just fine on the computer. But a CD created by this
program will not play on my CD/DVD player. I was at this site a while ago
and was informed that I had to make a DVD. I have blank DVD-R's but I can
find a way to record my movie onto the DVD media.
Maybe I'm dense?
Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I just got hold of Nero 7. It's a great software package with many tools and
functions for all types of media. I think I've found my answer for all of my
questions regarding multimedia.
