how to make check marks in a powerpoint checklist?

I went through the postings on how to make a checklist in Powerpoint 2003,
and that worked, but now, how do you get the check marks to appear in the
boxes... i.e. - how do you checkmark the checklist?

If each of the checkmarks is an image, you can use an animated effect to make
them appear. Depending on what your needs are, there are a couple ways to do
this. You can automate it so that they come in one after another or have the
speaker have to click to trigger the animation.
