How to make CD that will boot to DOS?

How do I make a CD to boot to DOS? I hope it's somthing simple like burning
a bootable CD with the DOS floppy files. I have this link

http://www.nu2.nu/bootdisk/modboot/

but you have to unzip so many files it's overwhelming. I bought a new
computer, no floppy and the WIN XP CD is not recognizing my drive correctly.
Only about 1/2 of the correct size is recognized. I want to make a CD that
will boot to DOS and allow me to use FDISK to partition and straighten out
my drive. I've been using Vista Beta 2 but need to reinstall everything in
order to get a dual boot (XP and Vista). I have the old Win 98 boot disk
files for DOS and made a bootable CD but my new computer just sits there.
Any help is appreciated.

The winxp cd is bootable and contains all the tools required to
Partition/Format etc
Perhaps explain *exactly* what you mean by 'not correct size'
Although it sounds like a pre sp version of winxp that doesn't recognise
large hd's in which case you either need to create a slipstreamed winxp cd
that contains the latest sp, or partition 137gb, install and once win
running update then use Disk Management to create another partition on the
free space.
PS I dont believe Fat will enable you to partition/format a large hd in a
single partition.

DL, thanks for the reply. I am asked if I want to install Win XP to the
unpartitioned part of the HD and it only shows 1/2 of the drives size
(total size is 250 GB). The other 1/2 is not even shown. Where is it? When
installing Vista all of the drive is recognized. XP doesn't show any
information at all about the drive except 1/2 of it. I went ahead and
formatted this partion and am installing XP. Hopefully with Disk Management,
as you suggested, I will be able to have the rest of the drive available.
This version of XP is a very early version, when XP was first released. The
very 1st day, as a matter of fact. I will update to SP2 when all installing
is done. Thanks again.

That did it. I now have another partition and have access to the whole HD.
Now I can dual boot. Thanks.

Create a slipstreamed install cd for next time, also save on multiple
updates
google for autostreamer - though there are others
