Can someone point me towards a method or application that can easily tell me when a user logs into a domain? All I need is to know username and first log in attempt per day.

Thanks,
J

If you have auditing enabled on the Default Domain Controllers GPO you can
find this information in the security event logs of your DC's. For a lot of
users this can be a bit of a boring task but there are numerous event log
monitoring tools out there that will collate login events from all your DC's
and allow you to filter them on your PC. eg www.gfi.com has a product called
SELM.
