Hi - is there a way to lock everything down so that the end user cannot
change the font, size, colour, and most important the postion of the text
boxes.

We are using Powerpoint 2003.

Thanks in advance if you are able to help.

No - you cannot lock that down. I'm assuming you want the text content to be
editable?

Maybe, someone else will have a better answer <g>

Have a nice day.

Hi - yes we still want the text editable, but not be able to change the
styles & placement of the text boxes.

Thanks

Do you want them to be able to change other attributes? Edit the text, for
example, but not change the color/position?

If you can install an add-in on each user's PC, there's probably a way to do
this.

Otherwise, no.

Hi Steve, the only thing we want the users to do.... is to be able to edit /
add text, no background, font, size or colour changes at all.

We will be able to install an addin onto the PC's.

Is there something out there or would we need this developed ?

I don't know of anything out there that does just this but in some of our own
addins we "protect" certain template and other shapes. I'd have to play with it
a bit but I suspect I might be able to dela with color et al. Not sure of
background.

If you'd like to follow up, put together a list of the things you'd like to set
in stone, so to speak, and cobble up an example presentation, then give me an
