How to keep copies of forwarded emails in the Inbox?

Am using Outlook 2002, and am trying to figure out how to return to my
historic condition where my forwarded original messages remained in the
Inbox. I must have changed some setting inadvertantly. As it is now, the
messages disappear into the sent folder, and I cannot figure how to change
back so that I can reference from the inbox.

Thanks for your help

On the Tools-Options menu dialog, click the Email Options button, then click the Advanced Email Options button. See if your "Save forwarded messages" option is checked.

Check your view settings - make sure they're set to All Messages on the
inbox and that you aren't filtering on anything.

It is checked, and it has made no difference
Thanks for the help anyway

The view selection does not offer "All Messages", just Messages, and Auto
Preview Messages. I tried every selection in views to no avail, but thanks
anyway.
