In Windows XP, how do I change the settings so that I can have a smaller window stay in front/top of a larger one that is behind/below, even while I type in the larger window?
There's also a desktop plug-in for XP available to manage open windows in XP. This may be something you'd be interested in. It's in the Powertoys section and can be downloaded for free. Hope it's what you want
Resize both windows so they both fit on the desktop without overlapping.. or
what I do is just right click taskbar and select "Tile windows vertically" -
or horizontally, whichever you prefer..
