how to interchange the sandclock to timedbars

When i load diffrents presentations i would like to change te sandclock
(mouse busy) to a timedbar or windows showing...Loding files please wat...

It's a Windows setting, not PowerPoint.

Click on Start, Control Panel, Mouse, Pointers

It seems to be up to Windows to decide when to show the hourglass cursor.

You can force it by using VB or other code, but it gets rather complex and would
also require that you have an addin loaded to trap presentation open events.

It sounds like you want something like the "Loading ..." progress bars you often
see with Flash movies. I don't think that's possible with PPT.
