How to install DFS/FRS on Windows 2000 - Help!

I've been going through the newsgroups searching on information in real time
file replication.

We deploy sets of servers (2 - a primary and a backup) to manufacturing
plants an currently use Veritas Replicator to sync up certain directories
from the primary server to the backup server (in case the primary goes down
the backup can take over). However, we have run into many problems with this
software from Veritas causing us problems at the customer location.

Needless to say, Veritas support sucks, they have one of the worst web sites
to search information on.

I'd like to try the alternative and use FRS/DFS to replicate the directories
that I need synced up. However, I can't find any information on how to
install these services, but a lot of posts on trouble with them.

Can anyone point me to the right resource that has a guide on installing
DFS/FRS?

TIA
