HOW to Install BOTH XP32 and Vista64 on new machine???

What is the BEST way to install both XP32 and Vista64 on a brand new rig that
I am building?

It seems that it is best to install XP32 first ... followed by Vista64 ...
but what are some suggestions and which pitfalls can I avoid?

You can create a dualboot for xp and vista, also to use vista 64bit, ensure
that the motherboard support first before jumping the wagon

Also, vista is the 1st windows OS where the older OS(in your case XP), does
not have to be installed 1st.
