how to install a program on xp

How do I install a program on xp that is designed for earlier microsoft
editions like 95 and 98.

Try the Program Compatibility Wizard - available via
Start>Programs>Accessories.

Right click on the file and Choose properties, Then Choose Compatibily
TAB then Choose the operating System it is Compatible with
