how to insert lines quickly after text in table

this is a quick method to add lines after text has been inserted in a table,
can anyone help?

Perhaps we could if we understood what you are asking.

-- To add text after existing text, place the I-beam cursor after the
existing text and type the additional text.

-- To create a new line, if you are still on default settings, Ctrl + Enter
should do the trick. If you have changed the Enter Key Behavior option, then
what you do to create a new line will depend on how you re-set the option.

If neither of my guesses about what you are asking is correct, please
clarify and it's likely someone will have a useful suggestion.
