How to import message rules and blocked senders .reg files to Outl

I saved my message rules and blocked senders lists from Outlook Express and I
need to transfer them into Outlook. When I try importing the message rules
directly from Express into Outlook, it only transfers 4 of my 132 message
rules for some reason, and I haven't found an option to transfer the blocked
senders list at all.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks...

To transfer rules from OE to Outlook, OE must be configured correctly. You
must have your rules in OE, not exported.

In Outlook, click File>Import and Export>Import Internet Mail and
Addresses>Next. Select Outlook Express, uncheck "Import Mail" and "Import
Addresses". Click Next. Follow the instructions in the popup you see.

Since you don't state your Outlook version, I can't tell you definitively
how to transfer your Blocked Senders list. For Outlook 2003, click
Action>Junk E-mail>Junk E-mail Options. Select the Blocked Senders List tab
and click Import. Browse to the file where you saved your OE blocked
senders. It must be a text file.

To transfer contacts, follow the same method as you did for rules. In fact,
there's nothing wrong with importing your rules and contacts simultaneously.
However, for messages, export them from Outlook Express with
FIle>Export>Messages. If you try to import them with Outlook, you will
alter their received dates, making them match the date and time of import.
