My account was deleted accidentaly by IT department.
There is no backup for Exchange server.
When an account is created, Exchange assign a unique internal ID that can
not be replicated. (Even when my account is with the same name and alias).
Exchange recognize it as a different one).
My only chance to recover all my data is through an offline folder file.
However when I try to use with my "new" account. Outlook display an error
that the .ost file was created for a different user, so I can not access it.

The error message is as follow:
The file outlook.ost cannot be accessed because it has been configured for
use with a different mailbox.

Is there any way to import info from a .ost file into a .pst file without
being accesing outlook front end?. Any program ?
Anyone directly from Microsoft that can help me recovering my data ?

Why this security feature if is the same Windows User accesing the file ?
Why this security feature if is I have access to the folder ?
Nothing changed but just the fact that my account was deleted and then
re-created.

PLEASE HELP. I CANNOT AFFORD TO LOOSE THIS DATA. PLEASE. SOME MERCY.

Thanks,

Ouch.

Your IT department needs to take the fall for this one - and in fact, they
should be the ones busting their __ses trying to fix it. There is NO excuse
for not having backups - this is entirely irresponsible behavior.. Your own
account deletion is the least of your company's worries - imagine if your
building burnt down? You'd be toast, to use a bad pun. They need to FIX
THIS. I'm sorry to sound so harsh, but that's the way it is -

OK, back to you. Before trudging off into the very expensive world of
www.exchangerecovery.com, what version of Exchange are you running? If it's
E2k/2003, you may be able to recover your mailbox if things are set up
properly - I suggest you post in microsoft.exchange.admin immediately and
tell whomever mucked things up to begin with to keep their hands off the
server in the meantime.

Barring that, the link above will work for you, but again, the utility is
not cheap. You might also google for an older app called OST2PST - try it on
a backup copy of your OST file.
