How to ID Programs and Tasks

I saw a message in this forum that named a website that
maintains a list of program names so that users can
identify the programs running on their computers. I cannot
re-locate that message. Could someone please provide that
website name again? I am anxious to see what some of the
things in the Task Manager are and ensure that they are
legitimate.

Hi.

you should be able to get that info from your system info under software
environments and running tasks.
you can open system info by clicking start and run then type msinfo32 and
click ok
