program started by task scheduler invisible

When I schedule a program to run, task scheduler indicates that the program
was started without error and is running, but I cannot see it on my desktop.
For examle, I had task scheduler start the windows calculator. It says that
it executed the task and the program is running, but it does not display and
is not listed on the start menu bar where active programs are listed. When I
start task manager, I see the program calc.exe listed as a running process
under the process tab, but not listed in the application tab. If I start the
calculator by double clicking its shortcut, the calculator displays on my
desktop and is listed in task manager in both the application and processes
tabs. When I use task scheduler to start my Hauppauge radio, I can hear the
radio playing on its last selected station but the radios interface screen is
not displayed on the desktop. Radio.exe is in the task manager processes tab
but not the applications tab.
Task scheduler had worked in the past. Can anyone help me solve this?

If you are not running the task while logged in with the user ID that was used for creating the task, you will not be able to see any graphic interface that program may have.
