How to hyperlink a small table?

Hello All, does anyone know how to hyperlink a PowerPoint table?

(I am trying to set up a clickable calendar model with 12 monthly tables on
1 slide (a month table linking to a month slide) and using Excel tables
seemed an option as hyperlinking an Excel table is no problem, but these
Excel tables keep changing their sizes after editing (coloring) and
returning to PowerPoint and you have to use 'Reset' in the properties all
the time to outline them with the rest again...)

Anyone any ideas?

The question I meant to ask is how to link the table itself without covering
it up with an (transparant) autoshape, because the table should remain
editable (without having to forward and backward the table or the
autoshape).

You can add hyperlinks to the text in each cell of the table. Would that help
solve the problem?

Thanx Steve, but no. We know and it is not the solution I was hoping for...

Anyone? (or I guess it is just not possible now, is it?)
