How to highlight e-mails from outside my company?

Hi,

Most of my e-mail comes from people within my company. I'm trying to
figure out how to use Automatic Formatting to highlight messages that
come from people outside my company.

I tried creating an advanced condition where "From" does not contain
"mycompany.com". But this didn't work, because apparently Outlook
considers the e-mails I get from people within my company to be from
"John Smith" rather than "(e-mail address removed)". Maybe it's because
the internal messages aren't going over the Internet. I tried a rule
where "E-mail Account" does not contain "mycompany.com", but that
didn't work either.

Any thoughts?
Thanks.

Define a rule that sets the category to, say, ExternalMail (a category
that you add to the list). If an e-mail does NOT contain
"@companydomain" the assign it to the ExternalMail category. Then
customize your view to color-code mails in the ExternalMail category.
