how to hide a slide as part of a custom show?

Hello All, I have a PPT2003 presentation with several Custom Shows of which
the content is regurarly modified and therefor different slides of these
Custom Shows have show or not. Setting those slides on Hide makes no
difference as the Custom Show, shows the hidden slide anyway.

Is it possible to use some kind of Hide functionality while using Custom
Shows?

Not sure what youre doing wrong but if you hide slides in a custom show they
shouldnt show!
