How to get Windows Vista Beta?

Hi,

how can i get a windows vista beta 1 without msdn subscribtion?
can it be ordered from microsoft, or are there any alternative
download or shipping methods? Thanks in davance...

The only way (legally) to get it is either thru MSDN or by being a beta
tester.

There are indication that Microsoft may make it available when it reaches a
more mature state to the public ( Typically at a cost)

At present you would not want it. It is in the early beta state with quite a
few potential bugs. You would have ZERO support.

Hi Jon,

i dont need any support an i am aware of the fact, that it is error prone,
since it is a first beta.
But this does not mean that there are no benefits for me. I read so many
things about it and i
can say, that i have a in-deepth knowledge of the technical parts, but what
i need now is
practice! I am a developer and thus i need a closer look at the new os and
its core technologies...
